Facilities
Shooting Ranges
Our shooting ranges provide a friendly and safe environment for nearly every type of firearms enthusiast. The club facility is divided into an upper and lower range with separate entrances. The upper range has trap and pistol shooting and the Woods Walk Trail. The Club Pole barn for meetings, training classes, storage and maintenance is also located in the upper range. The lower range has the rifle and archery shooting areas. Access is by combination lock. All members receive the combination upon payment of dues. Visitors are granted entrance by a member.
Rifle Range
The rifle range offers 25, 50 and 100 yard target distances. We have ten shooting benches under canopy. Removeable target stands are available for shooters to affix targets and place in the base at the desired shooting distance. A stapler is located near the shooting bay. Paper targets must be used and may be purchased for a nominal charge.
Range is open daily from 9:00 am until dusk
Note: Range is closed during Firearm Deer Season Nov 15 – Nov 30.
Trap Range
Our philosophy is to run our Trap range at the break-even point after accounting for the cost of targets, utilities and maintenance costs. The club has a remote controlled trap house that is operated from the rear of shooters on “Pull”. The machine rotates left and right and up and down and can be programmed based on shooting preference. There is enough throwing capacity to handle at least three squads of shooters before reloading. We have five shooting stands, an observation/scoring tower and under canopy observation seating. Trap Shooting opens the first Saturday in May and continues until the last Saturday of October weather permitting.
Don’t be bashful about getting started in Trap – everybody is a “beginner” at least once! If you would like some help or just want some practice, just let the manager know and we will do our best to help you out. Sunday afternoon is a good time for shooters to come to the club for practice and to learn the sport. It is often helpful to turn off the horizontal wobble so that the machine throws the same bird on every cycle. Just ask the manager.
Range is open for competitive shooting on Saturday from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Practice shooting by appointment.
Note: Range is closed during Firearm Deer Season Nov 15 – Nov 30.

Pistol range
Hand gun shooters are allowed to use the 25 yard rifle range with targets. Our Pistol range also offers shooters 25 yard spinning steel targets for practice.
Range open daily from 9:00 am until dusk
Note: Range is closed during Firearm Deer Season Nov 15 – Nov 30.
Archery range
Straw bales are provided under a canopy target base. Archers my place targets or decoys in front of the base and shoot from various angles and distances.
Range open daily from 9:00 am until dusk
Woods Walk Trail
The club has developed and constructed a “Woods Walk” trail and targets for muzzle loader shooters. The trail is about 100 yards long across varying wooded terrain and is located behind the berm on the upper range. The walk is divided into 11 off hand firing positions, Ten positions will have metal targets of different designs. These targets are 1/2 inch thick and move when hit. The shooter will not know the range of the targets. Loading is done at each position. The 11th target will be a tie breaker. We have sponsored several successful Youth Shooting competitions, a Black powder competition and a private shooting group event.
Available for scheduled events only.
